More guests will be announced at a later date. \nWhat: Stories & Songs of Stompin’ Tom begin their 13th year in 2026 singing songs of defiance and hope\, some by Tom and some by other Canadian songwriters.   Since 1990 when Whiskey Jack and Tom first began to work together\, his message to Canada has been simple: \n                                   “Keep ‘er Canadian b’y\, we need ya!” \nBACK STORY\nThe idea for the show was conceived during their Covid-interrupted tour in 2020\, “Stompin’ Tom’s Canada Meets Seán Cullen’s Comedy”.   One fan wrote “That was the most Canadian show I’ve ever seen. I wish it didn’t have to end.”. \nWhiskey Jack’s 25 year professional and personal relationship with Stompin’ Tom form the heart and soul of this show.  You will hear “Bud the Spud\,” “Sudbury Saturday Night\,” and “The Hockey Song” and if there’s a song about your community\, you’ll hear that too.  Included will be songs written by Tom especially for this occasion:  Believe In Your Country\, It’s Canada Day\, Up Canada Way\, C A N A D A\, Unity and more.  \nAs the evening’s musical director\, Fremlin is also a raconteur with a wealth of fun and personal stories to share — some from his best selling book\, My Good Times with Stompin’ Tom. \nSeán Cullen is a triple Gemini and Canadian Comedy Award winner  and is known across Canada for his unique comedy\, acting\, writing and musical talents. Her sets showcase a remarkable versatility\, seamlessly blending pretty\, ambient sounds with the familiar west coast wobble bass and heavy\, face-melting tear-out dubstep. Expect an exhilarating experience where you’ll find yourself crying\, dancing\, and headbanging all in one set. Seraphyne also loves to play house music at local shows\, keeping the dance floor alive and vibrant.\n \n \nFÜNKT is a Bass DJ from Northern BC. He grew up in Terrace playing in punk and metal bands as a kid that transitioned into the filthy bass he is known for today. You can catch him dropping anything from Melodic Basslines to Wobbly Basshouse\, Bassline and Dubstep to keep that dance floor vibin. He has thrown and performed many events over the years keeping the scene in the north flowing including various shows\, resident dj in local clubs and performing in festivals like Valhallafest.\n \n \nKeethovan is a DJ from the Northern Coast of British Columbia who loves a good bass-line; everything from energetic house to his favourite; heavy dubstep. He’s no stranger to bass music – it was his first love when he discovered electronic music as a kid.\nIn high school\, he had a love of collecting old vintage audio gear which he’d tinker and experiment with to get a better understanding of the hardware and what it’s capable of. It went hand in hand with his love of EDM.\nHe’s always been interested in learning how to mix and finally started in 2019. Since then\, he’s been dipping his toes in local shows around Prince Rupert and Terrace; growing in the scene and creating a name for himself.
